After several last-minute changes in date and time, a monographic meeting on Ketiris was finally being held at the Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv. The Israeli Institute of Intelligence and Special Operations had been trying for decades to penetrate the heart of the country of slaves and unravel its information control systems. They had employed all kinds of strategies, from attempting to ally with some discontented popular faction (which they never found) to using spy satellites or trying to introduce guerrillas, all in vain. In a small room, a man and a woman were exchanging news and outlining strategic plans.

"Do we have what we wanted?" asked the woman in a calm but authoritative voice. She was a tall, elegant, still beautiful blonde woman, dressed in a jacket and pencil skirt. Her hair was perfectly styled and dyed, and her flawless makeup accentuated her harmonious face.

"No, commander," replied the man, who was wearing a captain's uniform. "As you know, our contact sent us encrypted information, and we were able to deactivate the interference network a few months ago. At that moment, we launched the drones from a nearby ship, triangulating the surface of the main island; we almost mapped it completely, but we couldn’t scan the security protocols, nor run the forced key opening algorithms; and our enemies restored the system before the drones could move to the other smaller islands in the archipelago."

"So, do we have an operational map of the main island?" inquired the commander.

"We have mapped approximately three-quarters of the main island, Alfar, but at a low level of detail. That allows us to know the location of buildings, roads, natural resources... but not the underground infrastructures or relevant technological points like power plants, transport lines, antennas, etc."

"But our teams have monitored the encrypted frequency system from the very beginning; it's impossible that they didn’t have a lot of valuable information for our technicians," the woman pointed out again.

"Of course, commander; it's not that the drones weren't doing their job. From the outset, they collected the information we are interested in; in fact, they acted as a parallel processing computer that, relentlessly, decrypts the entire ketirí system; with that information, we own the country; we can penetrate it at will. Creating that decryption and neutralization computer system has taken us years; it's the project of my life."

"And then? Wasn't that exactly what we needed to know?" asked the commander.

"The drones performed perfectly... but when they were about to send the information to our base, the enemy restored the interference system, and they could no longer send anything, except for the preliminary images of the island mapping; in fact, they even lost flight control, fell to the ground, and most likely were dismantled and destroyed...
